The other alternative nitrate test kit is Salifert

What is the lot number of the Nitrate test kit? This is stamped on the bottle. Mine is Lot 18A1209. means it is manufactured by API on december 2009 and it will expire after three years.

Normally the instruction says shake thirty second first before apply on water. I shake for more than three minutes because it gets stock in dealer for a long time.

Mine 17A1111 so meaning November 2011 and expiry date is 2016.

Kois are acting very weird today and not as active as their normal self. Changed 30% of water and salted to 0.05%. Will monitor and see if any changes in the afternoon. Video of koi after water change.
