swim bladder problem-remedy

    A kujaju thats 60cm started swiming left/right unbalanced 2 wks ago but active. Treated with salt but no improvement. Tried on anti bacteria medication for a week now. Still lying sideway underneath pond but looks healthy. Still move around but cannot swim properly.. any suggestions??

    Injection of Baytril and salt seems to have worked for this fellow :

    Bro Nivek. Tq for the link. Will try and see. Mine seems a lot more serious lying side-way sinking at all times.

    If it is swim bladder, then it is touch and go.........
    Ciprofloxacin injections, have been known to cure at times.......
    Baytril (which is Enrofloxacin), well, you can give it a try........

    This morning the kujaku can swim straight n stay upright for the 1st time Time in 5 weeks. After 5 japs of ciprobay. Thank u bros for yr suggestions n commemts. Appreciate yr time and willingness to share.. will keep a close eye on her. She is still not fully recovered yet.. tq.

    That's good news bro urbaneffects (Y) Keep a lookout for her eyes. There could be a tendency for the eyes to get cloudy/blindness if the koi has been subjected to too much treatment.

    The kujaku swim normal now. Still in q tank. Try to feed but not eating. Will observe for a few more days. Tq
