    Dear Hobbyists/friends,

Our 2nd GO is here! ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?

For those who are following HANAKO'S facebook, you will know we have posted all our 1st batch of GO kois and they are now available for viewing and booking for our balloting on 23.01.2016 and thereafter, the kois will be sold on a first come first serve basis. This year - we are very lucky to have secured 30 pcs of showa tosais of the 2013 AJKS Supreme Champion from Ueno Koi Farm. These tosais are super high quality and almost sold out to dealers around the world. We are also grateful that Okawa Koi Farm has also sent us 30- pcs high quality Kohaku and Sanke tosais.

Please see the kois pictures at https://www.facebook.com/hanako.koi.malaysia

Below are the competition rules/prizes for the GO competition 2016 and the pictures for the fish will follow shortly. We will roll out the competition kois batch by batch on about every 4 weekends and do watch our facebook page closely (more kois from other famous farms such as Torazo, Matsue and etc will follow).

    Competition Rules

    1. We will roll out the competition kois from January 2016 batch by batch about every 4 weeks until end of May/June 2016 for the grow-out competition. There will be appropriately 4-6 batches of 30-50 kois each batch for this competition.

    2. To be fair to all hobbyists, all kois will be first offered for booking and balloting and thereafter, to be sold on a first come first serve basis.

    3. Hanako Koi reserves the right to withdraw the competition kois from the listing if the koi appears to be unhealthy.

    4. Hobbyists are encourage to groom the koi at their own facility or alternatively, to pay a sum of RM500 to Hanako as keeping charge to keep the koi until the judging day (December 2016). While we will employ our best endeavour to nurse and take care the koi, Hanako Koi Farm will not be responsible and disclaim all liability if the koi falls sick or died during the keeping period.

    5. All kois will be brought back to Hanako Koi farm in December 2016 (exact date to be confirmed) for judging by Yuji Tanaka and Hiroki Ueno and other judges to determine the winners for the prizes listed in the competition.

    6. Hanako Koi reserves the right to make further rules for the GO competition from time to time.

    Dear hobbyists,

Please allow us to thank all the hobbyists (you know who you are) for your overwhelming supports yesterday for our balloting event. We sold a good amount of koi and this season is going to be very exciting for us. We truly appreciate your trust in us and rest assured, we will do better for the next batch of our GO kois. As promised - we will learn and learn hard and bring you the best kois!

Congratulations to Mr. Advin Chia - who is the lucky winner for the Okawa Sanke No. 28 - a truly beautiful and potential Sanke which was highly "booked" and many hobbyist. The draw was witnessed by Mr. Ng Yit Kok and Mr. Daniel Lee - thank you both for witnessing the balloting event!

Please see the following FB link for photos and further information. There are still many good kois available and now all the kois will be sold on a 1st come 1st serve basis.
